How industrial heat exchangers work

This article gives you information about Different types of heat exchangers and how industrial heat exchangers work

In order for an industry to function correctly,Guest Posting many things must be thought of, above all to have a good temperature despite the large size of the building and to have machinery work correctly, constantly and without sudden blocks. In some industries it is essential to install industrial heat exchangers, devices that allow for an exchange of thermal energy between two fluids of different temperatures. These devices are used in large industries where there is a need to maintain a fixed temperature in some areas or to change the state of a fluid, for example making it go from liquid to gaseous.

Depending on the type of industry, the right model must be chosen to ensure maximum efficiency in the processes. The factors of choice can be: the material with which the appliance is built, the ease of use, the seal (in case of working with toxic fluids), the maintenance costs (which can also be very high), the reliability and safety. But how exactly do heat exchangers work and what are the most common models you can find in the market?

What is a heat exchanger
Not all industries need a heat exchanger, but only those that have to carry out specific production processes, such as: pasteurization, sterilization, a change of state such as crystallization, evaporation or condensation, or cooling or heating of fluid currents. From this it can be deduced that these appliances are indispensable in the food or chemical and petrochemical industries, where the production environments must have a high level of safety. The most common industrial heat exchangers are those with plates, shell and tube or finned coils.

The choice varies from the type of production to be performed, the size of the industrial plant and the safety standards to be respected. A major distinction that must be made is between water/air exchangers and air/air exchangers, because they have differences in price, functioning and methods of use.

Water/air exchangers
The water/air exchangers for industrial use are able to cool/heat an environment in a very short time. They are chosen in very large buildings instead of air conditioners because they offer great savings in terms of energy and money. Usually, industries choose these heat exchangers if the air inside the plants is oily or full of dust, since they prevent humidity from entering the electrical panel. A water/air exchanger can only be installed if the temperature outside the system is higher than the inside.

Air/air exchangers
The air/air exchangers for industrial use are usually installed when the external temperature of the system is lower than the internal one. These appliances are perfect for systems or very small rooms, since they have a lower cooling capacity than water/air exchangers, however they also require less maintenance.

Different types of heat exchangers
On the market you can find different types of heat exchangers, made with different solutions based on your needs, which can be different based on the type of industry.

The simplest and most standard heat exchanger is the double tube one, which is made up of 2 concentric tubes of different diameters: the first fluid flows in the smaller diameter tube while the second fluid flows in the annular duct between the two tubes. The flows can be of two types: equi-current (when the fluids travel in the same direction) or counter-current (when the fluids travel in opposite directions).

The tube and shell heat exchanger is the most used model in industrial applications. This type of exchanger is characteristic for the large number of tubes that make it up (there can be even hundreds of tubes) and a cylindrical shell that contains them.

The plate heat exchanger is made up of metal plates with holes that allow the fluids to pass through small ducts. Its peculiarity lies in the sides of the plate, which come into contact with hot and cold fluids alternately.

The regenerative exchanger allows the alternating passage between the hot fluid and the cold fluid, as occurs in the plate exchanger. However, there is a difference between static and dynamic. The static regenerative heat exchanger has a large thermal capacity and a porous structure, characterized by a mesh of ceramic material wires. The dynamic regenerative exchanger, on the other hand, allows a continuous flow of hot and cold fluids and consists of a rotating drum, which comes into contact during rotation with both fluids alternately and works as a useful tool for storing thermal energy.

All these heat exchangers can be very efficient, but over time things can change due to an accumulation of materials of various kinds in the walls, which create resistance during the heat exchange process, thus reducing their efficiency. However, this may also not happen if adequate periodic maintenance is carried out, as the appliances must always be cleaned and checked by expert hands to be considered safe and efficient over the years.

6 Ways Technology is Changing the Way We Communicate

Technology has drastically changed the way we communicate with each other. In just a few short years, we’ve gone from sending handwritten letters to communicating instantly with anyone in the world via text, email, and social media. Here are six ways technology is continuing to change the way we communicate.

Technology has drastically changed the way we communicate with each other. In just a few short years,Guest Posting we’ve gone from sending handwritten letters to communicating instantly with anyone in the world via text, email, and social media. Here are six ways technology is continuing to change the way we communicate.

Were Communicating More Often, But in Shorter Bursts
Thanks to the popularity of messaging apps like WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and iMessage, we’re now used to being able to contact anyone we want at any time of day. And because we can contact someone instantly, we tend to communicate in shorter bursts than we would if we were sending an email or letter.

This change has been most noticeable in the way young people communicate; they’re much more likely to send a quick “text speak” message than write out long sentences or phrases.

Bots and AI-powered Assistants are Becoming our New Best Friends
As artificial intelligence gets better at understanding human communication, we’re starting to see more and more AI-powered chatbots and assistants enter the market.

These days, we can talk to our bank’s chatbot about our account balance, ask Alexa for the weather forecast, or chat with a salesperson on a website powered by artificial intelligence. And as AI continues to get better at understanding human communication, these sorts of interactions are only going to become more common.

NBN and Fixed Wireless Internet Help Us Stay Connected
In today’s always-on world, it’s more important than ever to be able to stay connected. Whether a person is working from home or keeping in touch with family and friends overseas, NBN and fixed wireless internet from providers like Swoop help them stay connected when it matters most. With super-fast speeds and super-reliable connections, people can do more of what they love without worrying about being disconnected.

Visuals are Becoming Increasingly Important in our Communications
With the rise of visual social media platforms like Snapchat and Instagram, it’s clear that people are now interested in consuming information that is presented in a visually appealing way. And as we continue to consume more and more visual content online, businesses are going to have to adapt their communications accordingly by incorporating more visuals into their marketing materials, website content, and much more.

We’re Becoming More Open to Communicating with Strangers (at least online)
The rise of social media has made it easier than ever before to connect with people from all over the world who share similar interests. And as online communication becomes more commonplace, we’re becoming less hesitant to reach out and connect with others online (even if we’ve never met them in person).

We Expect Faster Responses to our Communications
With instant messaging apps being so popular these days, we’ve become used to getting near-instant responses to our messages (within seconds or minutes). But when it comes to other forms of communication like email or even phone calls, our expectations haven’t changed all that much; we still expect a reasonably quick response even though it might take hours or even days for someone to get back to us.

5 Tips For an Outstanding Legal Resume

A resume that succeeds with legal recruiters comes down to 3 main elements: design, structure, and readability. Here are some proven strategies to help get you noticed:1) START WITH A BOLDFACED POSITION TITLELegal recruiters scan hundreds of resumes daily. Prevent confusion by inserting the EXACT TITLE of the position you’re seeking at the very start of your resume. Be sure to also include this title in the first line of your cover letter, if including one.2) SPELL OUT ACRONYMSIn today’s marketplace, the first pair of eyes scanning your resume may very well belong to someone not in the legal professional. Don’t alienate them by cluttering your resume with legal acronyms. Spell them out.3) LIST EDUCATION CREDITS AFTER YOUR WORK HISTORYIf you’ve been out of law school for more than 5 years, list education credits following your work history. Not doing so is shorthand in recruiting circles for a candidate lacking real-world experience.4) EMPHASIZE CAREER TRACKSContinuity of employment is a highly valued asset, and should be stressed wherever possible. List all positions with a particular employer under one heading. If a former employer changed names due to a merger or acquisition, be sure to clarify this.5) BREVITY IS KEYProofread your resume carefully to eliminate unnecessary verbiage and non-pertinent credits. As a general rule, 1 page works best for paralegals and clerks, 2 pages is acceptable for attorneys, and 3 pages is almost always too long.6) OFFER TO SUBMIT AN ADDENDUM OR TRANSACTION SHEET IF NECESSARYMost attorneys with years of experience struggle with presenting it all within the strict confines of a resume. DON’T TRY. Instead, focus on presenting an OVERVIEW of your skills and accomplishments, and include an “Addendum or Transaction Sheet Available Upon Request” line at the very end. This keeps your presentation clean, and builds recruiter interest in calling you in for an interview.
